Important changes to the way you do business with the Companies Office

Published: 13.05.2008

From 1 July 2008, it will become mandatory to file certain documents with the Companies Office via our online services.
A complete list of affected documents is outlined on the Companies Office website.

To aid you in the transition to electronic filing we have put together a set of useful resources including guides on how to file electronically with the Companies Office. Please take the time to familiarise yourself with this information which is available on the Companies Office website.

We are also launching a series of free Regional Training Seminars to help familiarise you with our online services. You can register for these seminars or request free training at our Companies Office Training Hub.

The introduction of this policy will see the removal of many of the manual processes that the Companies Office currently supports.  However, we recognise that in some cases, clients will need to continue to file documents manually. Information about these exceptions will become available from the Customer Support section of the Companies Office website from 1 July 2008.
