Free seminars for Companies Office clients and Financial Service Providers

Published: 09.02.2010

You may be aware of our upcoming IT changes for the Companies Office, and of the implementation of the new Financial Service Providers Register (FSPR). Both are scheduled for launch in May 2010.
To support our current and future clients, free information seminars will be held throughout New Zealand’s main centres beginning mid-April 2010 on these key topics:
  • Introducing the new online tools, widgets, and the key functionalities such as the igovt log on and personalised dashboards for the new Companies Office IT system.
  • Introducing financial service providers and advisers to the basics of the FSPR regime, who will administer it, what registration requirements are, and how to register on the FSPR once live. All individuals and entities in the business of providing a financial service will need to be registered so help yourself get ready by attending.
If you have any questions on either Companies Office services or the FSPR, you will have the opportunity to submit your questions online once registration has opened.
Registration for these seminars will begin soon and spaces are limited. Visit our training hub at www.companies.govt.nz/training to keep informed of when registration will commence.

A Business Update Newsflash will be sent when registration is open.
