2010 New Zealand Petroleum Conference

Published: 15.12.2009

The New Zealand Petroleum Conference will be held between 19 and 22 September next year.

The Crown Minerals organised event has evolved over the past 28 years to become New Zealand’s showcase for the oil and gas industry. It attracts industry leaders, experts and decision makers, providing a platform for discussion of the opportunities and challenges before the oil and gas industry, and a forum for industry players to network and develop business opportunities.

The central theme for the next conference is transformation – looking at the role oil and gas will have in transforming New Zealand’s economy and in terms of New Zealand’s overall energy strategy. Good interest is expected, particularly following the Minister’s recent announcement of a Government Action Plan to support development of the petroleum sector in New Zealand.

Keynote speakers include Government Ministers, top international experts and industry leaders across the exploration and production, support services, financial and legal sectors that form the basis of our oil and gas industry.
