Flame effect heaters advisory to be issued to gasfitters

Energy Safety is about to issue an updated advisory to gasfitters regarding flame effect heaters. It will be mailed to all registered persons on the Plumbers Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board database in early June.

This advisory indicates aspects of installation and maintenance that are of particular relevance to flame effect heaters.

Users of gas appliances are reminded that they should have their appliances maintained in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. For flame effect heaters, this should be on an annual basis.
