RSM and Energy Safety attends Electrical Trade Fair

Published: 12.08.2008

“Protect your Business” was the focus for the Ministry of Economic Development (MED) at a recent Electrical Trade Fair held in Christchurch in July.

This is the largest electrical fair held in New Zealand, with 78 stands showing the latest technology in process automation, heating, energy conservation, power control, security, fluid control, and lightning.

Events like this provide MED with the opportunity to talk directly with industry and is part of its education programme, aimed at industry, focussing on electrical safety and sound radio frequency installation practices.

RSM and Energy Safety (ES) presented seminars where EMC sound installation practices were demonstrated and ES provided an overview of its work, particularly on the rules around the safety of appliances and its work in this area.

The trade fair was attended by thousands people from the electrical industry and even bad weather couldn’t keep them away.
