Feedback sought on draft electricity regulations
The recently enacted Electricity (Renewable Preference) Amendment Act states that no power station above 10 MW in capacity and using more than 20 percent fossil fuel may be built and operated without an exemption granted by the Minister of Energy. Any exemption granted under this Act must meet criteria prescribed in regulations.
